I’ve always liked the story about the young kid who was throwing starfish back in the ocean during low tide. At the time, I did not know starfish could get stranded a beach. There were hundreds on this particular beach.

An adult approached the kid and asked, “Hey kid, there are hundreds of starfish on this beach and probably thousands on this coast. Do you think throwing a few back in the ocean will make any difference?”

The sage kid replied, “I bet I made a difference to that starfish.“
